CERVIA IS A “QUALITY CERTIFIED BEACH”

A RESULT TO BE PROUD OF, AWARDED BY GERMAN COMPANY TUV WHICH CERTIFIED THAT THE SERVICES ON OUR BEACHES CONFORM WITH THE UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 STANDARD

Consultancy relating to this project was provided by Serint Group srl with the aim of providing all of the beaches with the tools they needed to make a decisive step up in quality. The beach concession owners that participate in the scheme, as indicated by the table displayed at the entrances to the beaches, are committed to guaranteeing services of a certain level of quality and signing an environmental protection protocol.

What does this certification translate into in real terms? Children’s toys must bear a safety stamp; separate waste collection must be respected and punctual; the cleaning products used must be environmentally friendly, to name just a few.

Thanks to Cooperativa Bagnini di Cervia certification, the hotels and businesses in the area can rely on a quality certified beach business recognised by the international tourism market. The management of the beaches is improved as a result and Cervia’s 9 km coastline enjoys enormous benefits in terms of image. This wide-reaching beach tourism certification project is unparalleled at domestic and European level.

An innovative pledge in Italy and source of additional value for the entire local tourism sector. Naturally, it is also an ongoing commitment, viewed as a process of continuous improvement.
